How to go from LVM back to a plain partition

Hi,

I recently installed Fedora 5 on a machine with just one HD. This PC 
serves as a backup server for the network together with a tape changer.

Now I wanted to use partimage to create a image for disaster recovery, 
but had to find that partimage won't work on LVM.

This machine does not need LVM, the single is by far large enough. How 
can I go back to a non-LVM system? Is there a way other than rebuilding it?

Any help is appreciated
