Top posting is when you put your response above the previous email.  In
many places (other than Windows) it is bad to do so.

Why? you ask, it breaks the message reading flow.  You end up having to
read the entire message to find out what you are responding to.

Next, it is usually OK to remove any irrelevant parts of the message to
be more concise.
