kde hanging on login - solved?

I'm not sure if this is believable or not. I don't have webcore-fonts 
installed, so that couldn't be it.
I checked through .fonts and deleted a weird font I had downloaded, no 
effect.
Then, upon watching KDE appear, it seemed that the first thing to appear 
after the "hang" was Klipper, so I looked in Klipper and deleted the 
history.
Now, there's no delay!
It may not have been the history itself per se, but perhaps something 
about how Klipper works that caused this after the update(?!),
