Richard M. Stallman already came out with a "nice compiler for Linux".
Some people have developed some "good commerical software for Linux"
with it already. Oracle, SAP, Netscape, Intel, Sun,
Novell, IBM, to name a few.
 Ironically, Intel's commerical contribution is a C++ compiler.
