I forget the checkbox name in the GUI, but if you add PEERDNS=no to
the config file for the interface, that should do it. For eth0, the
file is /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0. It is DHCP that
is changing /etc/resolv.conf. For most people, this default behavior
works fine. But in your case, it doesn't.
