Desktop v System? A small itch...

Hi Folks,

Every fc5 desktop I see an image of has three menus at the top left
panel: Applications; Places; System.

But, mine has: Applications; Places; Desktop

This was an old configuration for fc4?  I did a new install (but moved
some prefs across).  Any ideas why this might be and how to join the
rest of the flock?
