kernel 2145_FC5 (like 2139_FC5) still locks up my inspiron 9200

I've also switched back to 2133 for the time being, as I use a promise
SATA card with a single 250GB SATA drive (non-raid), and I am utterly
unable to boot from 2139 -- the errors begin as soon as one gets past
the grub screen, long before logging is enabled.
I've adopted a wait-and-see with 2145 as to whether or not this issue
has been resolved. Once I get some tuits I'll see if there's a way I can
log the output at boot time, possibly with a null-modem cable or
something, to another box, so I can generate a better bug report for
this issue, but in the meantime I have work that needs to get done.
