Lock homepage in firefox for normal users?[Scanned]

To the best of my knowledge, Firefox settings are saved on a per-user
basis anyway, under $HOME/.mozilla/firefox/$RANDOM_STUFF/ (where
$RANDOM_STUFF is a random string). The homepage is stored in the
prefs.js file as
user_pref("browser.startup.homepage", "about:blank");
for a blank page.

If this file is set as immutable (chattr +i prefs.js), then the user
won't be able to modify it or delete it. It might be worth making the
.mozilla and firefox directories immutable, too.
