help with nvidia and X

Hi,

I am using FC3 on an ASUS A8N-VM. On board graphics from Nvidia are lackluster so 
I tried to use Nvidia's proprietary driver. Now X won't boot, complaining of the 
lack of nvidia.ko. I'd like to get X up so I can continue work. I have an text 
login to use. Suggestions?
