rpm -evv got hung

Hi ALL

I did rpm -evv Nessus-3.0.0-es3 it got hung. when i query

[root at e root]# ps -aux | grep rpm
root      9014  0.5  2.0 14416 10268 pts/1   S    18:00   0:01 rpm
-evv Nessus-3.0.0-es3
root      9063  0.0  0.2  7364 1516 pts/2    T    18:02   0:00
/usr/lib/rpm/rpmq -q --all
root      9069  0.0  0.2  7364 1516 pts/2    T    18:03   0:00
/usr/lib/rpm/rpmq -q --all
root      9092  0.0  0.1  3568  624 pts/2    S    18:04   0:00 grep rpm
[root at e root]#

when i run #rpm -qa | grep rpm it got hung also

How do i proceed now with out a reboot
