libsane.so.1 64 bit

I have installed EPKOWA's driver for my Epson 4180 scanner on FC-5 64 
bit and get the error message that it can't find libsane.so.1. I have 
installed the rpm  I found by Googleing which says its for FC-5 64 bit. 
but still get the error. The scanner software and scanner work fine on 
FC-5 32 bit without any extras added and works fine with FC-4 64 bit and 
32 bit. has anyone any suggestions?
