Problem with sound card - ATI Technologies Inc IXP150 AC'97 Audio Controller

I am using FC5 and have a problem with my sound card. My computer is a
Toshiba
Satellite and ATI Technologies Inc IXP150 AC'97 Audio Controller.
KDE detects correctly sound card, but it doesn't play anything.
Firstly, I updated from FC3 and when I was using rhythmbox with some sounds
download from Internet (normal .wav files), sound was working only after
using
this program. In that time, I tried to use alsamixer and after that this
little miracle
wasn't working anymore.
Now I have a fresh FC5 install, but no luck. Miracle with rhythmbox doesn't
work
any longer. Any clue how to fix this problem?
