laptop fan permanently on in FC5

Same problem here with a Compaq Presario 2500. If you do a

cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/temperature

you see that the temperature is 45 C which used to be enough for all
the fans to turn off. Now only when it goes down to 44 C that happens.
