While we're on the subject, can history *not* record a command if it is 
identical to the previous command?

It's great being able to recall past commands.... but sometimes I use 
the same command multiple times before wanting to go back to some 
different one. Is it it useful to know "this command was entered 5 times 
in a row? I think it's more useful to just use as a "recall previous 
(different) command...

Is this an RFE sort of thing? I'll gladly create a rfe/bug ...
