two problems with fedora core 5

This is just selinux complaining about something that
happened with dev=sda8 which could mean different
things, a removable drive with 8 partitions or more or
a SATA? SCSI hard drive?  I really do not know as a
fact but did you have problem(s) with a removable
disk?  If nothing like that happened then this are
just friendly messages.  

I get some of these too, but they do not impede or
hurt anything major, so I do not complain.  If they
hurted something, then I would ask.

Why there are too many 2.6.16 kernels?  There are
several reasons for this.  One is that there have been
so many patches.  If you look at kernel.org website,
stable kernel is at 2.6.16.18 the 18 patches have been
applied to 2.6.16 kernel series.  If I am wrong please
correct me, There have been several articles
explaining that as the kernel gets bigger, it also
getting buggier.   One such report is at
