remote login by xdmcp - help needed

Hi,

I have some FC6 servers, and I want to grant the access by xdmcp. I configured gdm with gdmsetup on 
the servers, but each connect with "X :xx -query <server>" hangs in an empty X screen (only the x 
is displayed).

All firewall is switched off!

Any help is welcome.
