Perhaps resolved is a poor choice of words, but bug #204396 has been reported 
and it seems to be exactly what I'm experiencing.  From what I have gleaned 
with a quick visual scan of the report, they will either do a patch for FC6 
and/or make the fix permanent with FC7.
