FC-6 disappointment on AMD Athlon64 3200+ machine

That's weird.

I installed FC5 on an Athalon64 2800+ (K8MM-V board based on
an K8M800 chipset)... I was using a Philips IDE DVD-ROM drive,
and it failed in the kdeaccessibility section too.

So I used an external DVD burner drive on USB.  Had to use
the usb-storage drivers.

Worked fine.
