Gnome Session not starting python script

Hi, for a number of years I have been running a python script from my
gnome session "Startup Programs" tab.

 If I run the comand from a terminal all works fine.

Then a few days ago it stopped.  The script is no longer running, I
assume there is some error being generated, but I don't know how to
get the output of startup programs.

Does it get logged any where?
