Funny you should mention that. On my FC5 box:
# vi -x
VIM - Vi IMproved 7.0 (2006 May 7, compiled Jul 25 2006 10:55:33)
Unknown option argument: "-x"
More info with: "vim -h"
I mostly use Centos...
In the old days, the encryption was compatible with the command line
tool, 'crypt', but that seems to be missing too.
