We have been through this before, and it happened again yesterday. This
is a bug in sbcglobal's mail servers. They have a group of server
machines that sometimes go into a mode where they don't promptly confirm
the receipt of a mail message so the sending machine sends it again.

It seems to have stopped today but it is frustrating. I wanted to call
sbcglobal but I thought the possibility of finding someone who
understood what I am talking about is minimal.

It is good that does not continue to long.
