Nahh, haven't you heard....  everyone has installed FC7 already.

The rule of thumb.  The older versions are more stable; but, don't
support some of the newer technology or are becoming more difficult to
maintain.
If you wanted SAFE, you should have stuck with FreeBSD or some other
derivative.
Fedora Core is basically the TESTBED of the future of RedHat
technology.  If you wanted safe/stable/etc get RHEL
http://www.redhat.com/rhel/
