Grub boot problem ofter FC4 -> FC5 upgrade

After seeing the other responses that suggest a problem with RAID, I am
amazed that my suggestion worked.

I see that there is some RAID awareness in grub-install.  Possibly there is
still some residual RAID-ness on your system.  (Partition type?  I haven't
done RAID.)
