screen resolution

Hi,

FYI: DDC should detect the monitor type on instillation if the monitor
and display card support it.

Short for /*D*isplay *D*ata *C*hannel,/ a VESA <VESA.html> standard
<standard.html> for communication between a monitor <monitor.html> and a
video adapter <video_adapter.html>. Using DDC, a monitor can inform the
video <#> card about its properties, such as maximum resolution
<resolution.html> and color depth <color_depth.html>. The video card can
then use this information to ensure that the user is presented with
valid options for configuring the display

This should be picked up by Fedora.
