That was the latest official release until just last month when 1.0
was finally released.

Complain about what? It's damned if you do and damned if you don't
for package maintainers it seems. If they'd have pushed the release
candidates for k3b into FC6, someone would be bitching about being too
bleeding edge. If they hold off and add it to the development branch
first, there's a queue forming to complain about that.

Instead of looking for the line to complain in, it'd be better to look
into why 1.0 hasn't been pushed for FC6. If you find that it's for
lack of manpower, then join in and make it happen.

I'd guess that a combination of factors are at work. RHEL 5 was being
readied for release last month which probably consumed a fair amount
of time from many of the developers at RedHat. The test phases of F7
were also underway and ensuring that it is as polished as can be takes
a decent chunk of time. Add to that the work toward merging Core and
Extras and the time of the folks working on the distro is cut pretty
tight.

I don't know about you, but I'd feel pretty ignorant to complain to
those folks because they haven't jumped on a few packages. :)
