Why most run Microsoft, not RedHat

I know, and it is really irritating. Certain programs (such as games) do
not respond too well to being suddenly interrupted by the "Restart now?"
dialog. The install balloon says that I can continue working while the
updates are being installed. Should that not include gaming in a
full-screen application that doesn't like being interrupted?
