ext4 is to have a cool feature I read some time ago, it can be asked to
crap on the sectors that contained a deleted file AND crap over the
metadata.  I don't know if it takes care of the journal or not.  It
takes care of overwriting the unlinked sectors lazily over the next
little while after the delete IIRC.
