Nobody has all the hardware with them to test things which is why 
participation from people affected by the bug is critical. Generic bugs 
that affect many people get fixed faster because everybody else can test 
and debug the problem and this is also the reason QA on hardware 
specific issues is hard and every release invariably has some of these 
problems.
