I downloaded the latest BIOS flash and installed it.  There is still no
"Cool and quiet" selection in the BIOS to enable.  In WindowsXP, a "Cool
and quiet" driver is installed.  As you say, it doesn't need fixing
anyways, and so hasn't stopped me from doing anything in Linux.  But
with a bright shiny new motherboard it would be nice to get rid of ugly
warning messages.
