Can't use Hylafax with xen.

If I start F7 with the xen built kernel I am unable to start Hylafax. I get the 
message "Aug 18 21:41:57 epohost FaxGetty[3485]: /dev/ttyS0: Can not initialize 
modem." Without xen there is no problem with Hylafax.

Is there a way to run xen and Hylafax simultatiously?
