I am, and have been for some time, firmly convinced that *most* Linux
problems seen here are caused by inexperience or 'don't understand'
problems. Hardware is also another major factor.

There are several people on this list, you are one, and I will not try to
make a list so that I do not miss someone, that offer very good advice and
suggestions. What amazes me is the person with the problem(s) arguing
with, or at time insultings, that adviser(s).
