Bob, thanks.

But it was already there. The problem is that in 1.5 the search box was 
below the toolbar, while in 2.0 it's in the toolbar.

The other problem is that there are to many bottons on the bar, so I 
wasn't able to see the search box (even when it was there). Why is it 
that when the toolbar gets filled anything else you add to it ends up 
lost at the end (unable one to see it or use it).

I took away some bottons that I dont use and now it's visible.

It was an update. Anyway I think I'll file a bug report. Do I do it in 
the fedora bugtraq or do I go to the thunderbird page?
