Unable to get true 1920x1200 resolution with Fedora 8

Here's a full dump from my purchase order:
- Inspiron 9400, Intel Core Duo Processor T2500 (2GHz/667MHz FSB)
- 17 inch UltraSharp TrueLife Wide-screen WUXGA, for Inspiron 9400/E1705
- 1GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm, for Inspiron 9400/E1705
- Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950 GM, for Inspiron 
9400/E1705
- 60GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive for Inspiron 9400/E1705
