Read the "Fedora Sound - working as root" thread that was started last
week. Also go look at http://bugzilla.redhat.com/380031. I recently
did a clean install as well and updated the machine and sound does not
work as well. There is some problem atm that some package or set of
packages that causes sound not to work.
