    I just tried to yum the lib and got this on F8:

[root at k5di ~]# yum -y install compat-libstdc++-33
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
Package compat-libstdc++-33 - 3.2.3-62.i386 is already installed.
Nothing to do
[root at k5di ~]#
