Does the web browser take a long time to start in all FC systems?

Hi all!

I recently made a switch from Wintel to Lintel.

I have a question to ask : 

When I start the web browser it takes a long time to
start. Why is this ? 

Could someone please clarify.

PS : I do believe that the question is a little
"vague" bcos it is not clear from my mail as to what I
mean by "long time", I hope this will not be an issue.
