I assume that Fedora Core 6 is still built with the fortify source
option in gcc 4.1. Has using that actually helped decrease the number
of exploits that can be used on Fedora? Also, I noticed that Fedora
doesn't seem to use libssp. Is that just not stable or not very
effective to use? Just curious.
