No luck here.  It looks like the mmcblk dev isn't getting created.  The 
only error messages I'm seeing are the call trace I posted previously.  
I Googled for some of the related terms and the best I got was a 
Mandrivia bug report for a different problem.  The gist of the 
discussion in the bug report was that this was a different problem and a 
separate bug should be opened.  It doesn't look like that happened since 
I don't find the bug.  I'll try a few more Google searches.

Looks like I may have to wait a little longer to be able to read my SD 
card directly.  The USB cable to the camera works but the camera has to 
be on for that.  It would be nice to be able to just pop out the SD 
card, slot it on my laptop and get the pictures.
