printing 2 MB jpeg

Use the hplip drivers (yum install hplip). Avoid postscript drivers; 
they are extremely slow.

Also gThumb 2.9.1, available in rawhide, has a new print system 
(gtkprint vs libgnomeprint). It is somewhat faster and easier to use.
