fc 7 installation problems

i tried using the clocksource=acpi_pm option, and while this will get
me into fedora, the rest of the instructions tell me to open a
terminal. type su, give command--gedit/boot/grub/menu.lst.- to edit
the grub conf. but the only response i get is that no such file or
directory is found? any more suggestion?
