I found the same solution to the javadoc problem. Thanks, though, for 
the reply.

As for the upgrade I ran into some very minor problems but over all have 
been pleased. I upgraded one machine via the DVD and another via yum and 
both are operating perfectly.

I don't know that I would recommend *not* going to F7. Like any upgrade 
on the bleeding edge, there are likely to be some minor issues. That is 
the choice we made by choosing Fedora over Ubuntu. Personally, I think 
F7 was cleaner than FC6. It was certainly faster. In FC6 it took hours 
to upgrade and we had the problem with the kernel headers being 
mismatched with the kernel. We fixed it and moved on and forgot. When F8 
comes out these little problems will also have been fixed and forgotten 
and we will complain about the new ones. It is the Fedorian circle of life.
