wierd zd1211rw wireless adapter problem

I'm playing with this right now too.  NetworkManager helps, also seems to help 
if you don't have the wireless interface starting at boot and bring it up 
manually later.  I also turned off avahi-daemon as it seems to foul things up 
some how.
