Works perfectly and auto-mounts here:

...
usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2
usb 1-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
scsi1 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices

At which point I get a Nautilus pop-up window with the drive contents.
Not sure if this is of any interest but:

[dave at bend ~]# lsmod | grep usb
usb_storage 69665 0
scsi_mod 138093 5
usb_storage,sg,aic7xxx,scsi_transport_spi,sd_mod

This is all with:

[dave at bend ~]# uname -a
Linux bend.local.davenjudy.org 2.6.20-1.2933.fc6 #1 SMP Mon Mar 19
10:42:48 EDT 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

(At some point I'll reboot and pick up 2948)

Cheers,
Dave
