Two HAL bugs in F8

Hi. I'm experiencing two (very) annoying bugs in F8 and both are
caused by HAL I think.
#1: kpowersave shows two batteries while my laptop only has one.
#2: my external USB harddisk (filesystem is NTFS) is not automounted
anymore with ntfs-3g.
Both are regression with respect to F7.
Solutions I found so far:
#1: remove the "battery" capability from power_supply_0 :
hal-set-property --udi
'/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer_power_supply_0' --key
info.capabilities --strlist-rem 'battery'
Now kpowersave is happy again (me too!)
#2: add the file 10-ntfs-policy.fdi in /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<deviceinfo version="0.2">
<device>
<match key="volume.fstype" string="ntfs">
<match key="@block.storage_device:storage.hotpluggable" bool="true">
<merge key="volume.fstype" type="string">ntfs-3g</merge>
<merge key="volume.policy.mount_filesystem"
type="string">ntfs-3g</merge>
<append key="volume.mount.valid_options"
type="strlist">locale=</append>
</match>
</match>
</device>
</deviceinfo>
What do you think?
Regards,
Fabio
