Does Anaconda respect existing /etc/yum.conf?

I have "exclude=*.i386 *.i586 *.i686" in yum.conf on my x86_64 machine. I
don't need any 32-bit junk.

Just so I'd know what to expect: will Anaconda abide by this setting, when I
upgrade to F8, or will I have to fumigate my packages, again?
