yes and no! issues are related to the distro and asking questions on
nvnews (I have done sometimes) gives sometimes unappropriate answers.

I think that this is not totally true, for compiling nvidia driver from
nvidia shows explicitely that some installed libraries are to be removed
to avoid conflict.

Moreover I could see that livna driver loads dri module which is
explicitely "forbidden" by nvidia readme.
