Unfortunately it is useless in some cases: I recently made a mistake
writing an entry in fstab and the system did not boot... I came to
rescue disk, but it was unable to mount proporly the system on
/mnt/sysimage and vi was not working because of lack of shared
libraries.... I had to use ed!

WISH: could the rescuecd have a static linked version of vi?
