this is the general idea for Fedora 7
but of course, these walk throughs get outdated quickly (jre 6 update 3
is current) and 86_64 throws all sorts of curve balls (I don't think
that applets work in jre 6 86_64) and I don't think that the plugin
works with Firefox 86_64.
