mock and the dist tag

When I build an RPM with mock, it gets the standard Fedora dist tag
(.fc8).  If I want to change it to use my own dist tag, how can I do
that?  Ordinarily I'd do rpmbuild --define 'dist ????' but that's not
appropriate with mock.
