I don't use MySQL personally, but it's my understanding that anything you make
with MySQL must also be distributed under the terms of the GPL.  So if you make
a POS application using MySQL then your POS application must also be licensed
under the GPL unless you pay some fee to the MySQL people to get their program
under a different license.
